General Terms and Conditions of Use

The SAFRAN Group Customer Portal is the common web portal of SAFRAN and the SAFRAN Group companies (hereinafter "the Site") for the support and services of the customers of the SAFRAN Group companies.

This Site was created by SAFRAN and allows the customer to access the services of most of the SAFRAN Group companies via a unique authentication system. The information on this Site is therefore only accessible after the creation of a user account. It should be noted that for purely technical [temporary] reasons, some companies apply their own authentication system so that additional identification may be required.

These general terms and conditions of use apply to any person using this Site (hereinafter "the User"). SAFRAN reserves the right to update these General Terms and Conditions of Use at any time. The User will be informed about the update. The creation of the account implies the acceptance without reserve of the following terms and conditions.

Definitions

"Site": means the SAFRAN Group Customer Portal.

"SAFRAN Group company": means SAFRAN and/or any SAFRAN Subsidiary.

"Subsidiary": means any legal entity in which SAFRAN directly or indirectly holds more than fifty percent (50%) of the share capital and/or voting rights.

"User" or "Customer": refers to any natural person, working for a company, legal entity, customer of one of the companies of the SAFRAN Group and using the Site.

Rules for use of the Site

The Site presents the list of customer portals of the SAFRAN Group companies and allows access to them through a user account.

As a User, you agree to use the Site only for business purposes corresponding to your company's needs.

Access to the Site is free. It is accessible anywhere to any User with a computer or mobile terminal and access to the Internet. All costs incurred by the User to access the service (telecommunication subscription with an operator, computer equipment or mobile terminal (tablet), Internet access and connection, etc.) are borne by the User.

Password and Login

The password and the identifiers are created by each User at the time of the first login.

Passwords and identifiers are strictly personal and confidential and the User is responsible for the confidentiality of his/her passwords and identifier.

Site content

Hypertext links

In order to facilitate access to other sites likely to provide additional information or to the Sites of the SAFRAN Group companies, SAFRAN has inserted a certain number of hypertext links in the Site.

Nevertheless, SAFRAN cannot be held responsible for any third-party site to which you may have had access via our Site and which contains contentious or inaccurate content. SAFRAN has no means of controlling the content of third-party sites.

In addition, external sites may contain hypertext links to our Site. SAFRAN has no legal means of opposing this practice used on the Internet and cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for the content of sites outside SAFRAN.

Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, domain names, graphics, images, data, information mainly in the form of text, images and, more generally, all content of any kind present on the Site are the property of SAFRAN or are subject to authorisation for use.

Any use of this information, through reproduction, modification, downloading, transmission or any other current or future process, is subject to prior written authorisation.

Only copies for private, non-commercial use are permitted subject to the intellectual property rights referred to.

The User undertakes to not extract or re-use, including for private purposes, without SAFRAN's prior written authorisation, any substantial or non-substantial part of the content of the Site, and to not use software or processes intended to copy the content of the Site without SAFRAN's prior written authorisation.

Any infringement shall be subject to prosecution.

Responsibility

No guarantee is provided regarding the accuracy, precision, updating or exhaustiveness of the information made available on the Site.

Consequently, and with the exception of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, SAFRAN waives any liability for any damage resulting in particular from imprecision or inaccuracy of the information available on our Site or for any harm resulting from fraudulent intrusion by a third-party on our Site with the intention of damaging the interests or image of the Group, in particular by misrepresenting the information listed on the Site.

SAFRAN cannot be held responsible for any damage or virus that could damage or render your computer equipment unusable following a visit to our Site despite the implemented security measures.

SAFRAN undertakes to make every effort to ensure that access to, viewing of and use of the Site are secure.

The Site is accessible 24/7,except in the event of force majeure or the occurrence of an event beyond the control of SAFRAN and subject to any anomalies and maintenance operations necessary for the proper functioning of the Site; events for which the User cannot claim compensation.

Maintenance operations may be carried out without prior notice to Users.

Termination

SAFRAN may terminate the use of the Site at any time by giving one (1) month’s notice without the User being entitled to claim any compensation.

Authority

The SAFRAN Site and its content are created in accordance with the rules applicable in France, even if they are accessible to French and non-French speaking users. Furthermore, in the event of a discrepancy between the information presented in the French version of the Site and the information presented in the versions of the Site translated into other languages, the information presented in the French version of the Site shall prevail.
